What is IVF Treatment?

IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization. It’s a way to help couples have a baby when they can’t get pregnant naturally. The doctor collects eggs from the woman and mixes them with sperm in a lab. If they join, an embryo forms. This embryo is then placed into the woman’s womb. IVF can help if the fallopian tubes are blocked, if there’s low sperm count, or if other treatments have failed. At SCI IVF, we’ve made this process simple, safe, and respectful. We believe every couple deserves a real chance at parenthood through trusted IVF treatment in India.

What Can You Expect After IVF Treatment

During the Process

When you undergo IVF, the procedure starts with ovarian stimulation in which fertility drugs are administered in order to stimulate the ovaries produce many eggs. The development of the eggs are monitored by scans, blood tests and ultrasounds. When they are mature, eggs are taken out during a quick procedure known as egg retrieval. The procedure is performed under sedation in order to provide comfort.

At SCI IVF, In the lab, the eggs are infused with sperm to fertilize. Sometimes, a process known as ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is employed in which only one sperm is injecting into eggs to increase the odds of success. Fertile eggs are which are now embryos, are analyzed for a couple of days. Then one or more embryos that are healthy are gently placed into the uterus. This completes the process with care and care.

IVF Process Step by Step

The IVF process begins with a detailed medical evaluation, followed by hormone medications to stimulate egg production. Once the eggs are ready, they are collected and fertilised with sperm in the laboratory. The developing embryos are carefully monitored, and the healthiest embryo is transferred into the uterus. After embryo transfer, a short waiting period follows before pregnancy testing. Each step is closely supervised to ensure safety and the best possible outcome.
